even more is having a kid-friendly recipe that Brooks is guaranteed to love! It also helps that he gets his daily intake of greens and fiber in one drink! Today on LtL I’m sharing my go-to green smoothie recipe that’s guaranteed to be a hit with the family. What’s also great about smoothies is you can pre-plan for them by storing your ingredients in a prepackaged baggie you can keep in the fridge or freezer. I, however, am not this organized and just like to grab my ingredients as I choose. ????
Green Smoothie Recipe:
2 cups water
1 head of small romaine lettuce
1 apple
1 lemon, juiced
1-2 handfuls of spinach
1 T chia seeds
Additional green options:
1/2 medium cucumber
3-4 stalks celery
Blend all ingredients together in blender of choice and enjoy! I love our Ninja Blender and use it multiple times a week. If you’re looking for a smaller version with easy storage the Nutri Ninja is a great alternative! I also love these reusable straws for a great replacement for plastic AND they come with the pipe cleaning tool!![Green Smoothie recipe](https://lemonstolove.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/LC1_2588-2.jpg)
