loves eats what you’ve made whilst sharing their day and enjoying one another’s company. The reality: your toddler eats first because you know they won’t eat what you’ve made and you’re not in the mood to deal with a battle over menu options (again), so you throw together some less than nutritional meal because you know he’ll eat it. Let’s be honest, as long as they’re eating amiright?! Your husband sits down with you, eats the meal prepared for the family, you enjoy his company and adjust your family-togetherness expectations accordingly. Insert today’s post on getting your toddler to eat their vegetables. Or in my world, anything other than a hotdog. Sound familiar? If not, please email me at Lindsay@lemonstolove.com or stop by anytime and give me #allthetips. Even though most nights aren’t a ‘family-togethernss’ moment I have learned a few tricks of the trade along the way to sneak in all the veggies n’ whatnots. Here are a few helpful gadgets and purchases I’ve found from friends, Instagram and Amazon Prime. 😉

Meals on the go:
These bento boxes (like above Amazon link) have been awesome! When Brooks started school he got so excited to eat out of his new lunchbox. I don’t know what it is about the bento box, but as long as he gets excited about eating I’m all for it! This is the style and size B uses HERE. I also like these for different material options, these for color options, these for size options or if you’re buying in bulk. The bento box is great for traveling too! Brooks thinks he’s having a picnic when he’s not in school. He things its a treat when he gets eats out of his bento box. This is the second year we’ve used them and now the first thing he does when I pick him up is show me his empty bento box. 🙂

These silicone cupcake holders are also great if you don’t want to buy a bento box and just use containers you already own. They’re reusable and dishwasher safe. Speaking of reusable and dishwasher safe I am currently loving our new stainless steel straws! I got so tired of buying more plastic ones every other week. Such a waste, plus these are cuter I think. 😉
