Updating Our Master Bedroom

What I’m working with:

Here is a shot of what our master bedroom looks like now. I LOVE our blue velvet tufted headboard. I’ve been wanting one for years! I can’t find the exact one, but here are similar ones with varying price points HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. I found these gold night stands at Homegoods and impulsively bought them because I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t. These are my inspiration and starting point to where I see the room going. Sometimes I don’t have a full vision and just continue building it over time. I wanted a basic duvet cover and then layer over it with throws, quilts and pillows for color and texture. I have some framed artwork from the LtL Print Shop around the room and will probably change it out soon with another print!

On my wishlist:

I’ve been on the hunt for some dreamy, feminine curtains and still haven’t settled on the perfect ones. But, these velvet curtains from Urban Outfitters home have me wanting to make some purchase commitments. I always forget just how cute Urban Outfitters home is! Clearly I’m loving the blush and sherbet orange tones right now! Look at these amazing pillows from Target! I’m also loving this Anthropologie look alike throw from Urban Outfitters for half the price. For a few fun accessories to warm the space up, I’m loving this chair, planter, and hanging macrame here and here! I also love this zebra candle! It’d be so cute as a planter with a small succulent in there. And I have to give a moment for these removable wallpaper options. They’re so gorgeous and add such amazing flare to a room.
