LtL Photography: Florida Engagement Session

I’ll admit, this post might’ve started off a bit heavy on the emo but it is light in heart and full of LOVE! It’s so easy for me to write those words because I believe my best friend, a girl who has been in my life since the 8th grade…has found her person and I couldn’t be happier for her. <3

Lauren and Eric’s Florida Engagement Session:

I mentioned in my last post that Lauren recently asked me to take their engagement pics while I was home in Jacksonville in July…obviously I said YAS to capturing this exciting time in their life!! We headed out to this beautiful spot on Big Talbot Island that I’ve visited once before with my Dad and Brooks. Remembering the fallen trees and quiet space, I knew this would be the perfect location for their engagement shoot. I wanted to capture a different kind of Florida beach for them – something special for a special couple. 😉 I love how the fallen trees have been aged and bleached by the sun and ocean, the sand was a perfect shade of tan, while the water was calm and a beautiful blueish green hue. We shot mid-day with the hot Florida sun beaming down at us…I was a sweaty, hot mess but they were so wonderful and a natural in front of the camera! [gallery type="rectangular" ids="7043,7042"] Aren’t they just…beautiful. 🙂 I loved getting to spend this extra time with the both of them! Now, I’ll go back in October to celebrate them for their wedding on Amelia Island! I can’t wait..issa gon’ be greattttt!
