Now that the weather is giving us sneak peeks of spring temps I thought it was the perfect time to take the family out to Radnor Lake to stretch our legs and explore the trails. B and I have been twice now and there are always new surprises and wildlife to admire! While the in laws were in town we took a Saturday afternoon picnic to the state park for some good ol’ fashioned quality time together. We saw signs of new life springing from the ground, little creatures to study, and kid-friendly trails to saunter through. With this local park being free, easy to access, with hours of entertainment it’s no wonder it’s a Nashville favorite for people of all ages to visit! Thanks so much for reading y’all! What other kid friendly places do you like to visit near Nashville? I’d love to know and add it to our list! For more family friendly places around Nashville visit this post here and here. Lemons to Love, Lindsay *Edit: picnics are not permitted on the grounds of Radnor Lake State Park. We did not know this going in with our food and were informed by a very friendly park ranger. Since our food was contained and we would be taking all trash with us, he allowed for us to finish our lunch…& we promised not to repeat this mistake in the future. ;)]]>
