What a year a difference makes…about this time last year we were galavanting around the pumpkin patches of the Pacific Northwest. Now, just one (short) year later how so many things have changed.
On a whim one day our way home from preschool I decided we would stop by this local pumpkin patch I’d seen signs for in passing. We got there right as they opened, so the VIP parking was flowing. We walked through the pre-picked pumpkins to unveil the cutest little farm. It was so dang cute y’all! A little hidden gem, tucked away down a sweet country road *emoji heart eyes. This place was a perfect spot for kids B’s age to run, see, do! There were farm animals to feed, corn mazes to explore, and tractor trains to ride.
We’ve had a lot of luck lately with ourimpromptu adventures in our new home of middle Tennessee…I can’t wait to see what the holidays will continue to bring!
Happy Fall y’all!! I’ve got lots more fun adventures to share…if I can only find the time to post and share! #blessedbusybee
Contrary to popular belief, B&B does not, in fact, stand for bed and breakfast. Well, in this case anyway. In my world, B&B stands for Betsy and Brian. The dynamic duo that is my middle sister, Betsy, and her better half, Brian (you’re welcome, Bri). 😉
They flew out from the (B)east coast…is that a thing? I think I just made it a thing. I may be using that one again in the future…🤔 We had a short by oh-so-sweet visit with them. We showed them some of our favorite spots here in the PNW; we hiked, we toured, and of course we ate and drank.
Here is our highlight reel. 🎞🎞
Geoff and I were both so thankful our sis and bro took time out of their busy lives to fly across the country just to spend time with us…thank y’all for the memories!❤️
*Not pictured, our day in Seattle (toddler free, thanks to some sweet friends of ours)! But check out the video for some Seattle snippets, or subscribe to my YouTube channel and never miss an adventure!📽📽
Washington has the cutest family owned pumpkin patch near us…I took Geoff so he could see what B and I explored around this time last year with my friend Ashley. You might remember the cuteness here. I mean, y’all when I say cute, I mean ca-yute! They have little horses for the kiddos to ride, a hay ride, a tractor ride, a corn maze, a playground, a cute store for goodies…oh yeah, and pumpkins! 🎃
It was only a few days after B’s surgery, but we were all going a little stir crazy and lil’ man was doing so well with recovery we decided to take the morning and let him get his jitter bugs out. 🏃🏻 It was such a fun family day, getting to spend some time together playing. We even took a stroll through the (ginormous) corn maze annddd took a detour to the exit quickly after. #notmything
I was sad to see Summer go, but loving these Fall vibes with cooler weather and all the color changes…🍂🍁
And that’s all the sweetness for the day! ❤ I hope you enjoyed our visit through the pumpkin patch…could y’all even handle the Carhartts on B?? #notsponsored😜
I love all the holiday outings this seasons brings! My sis and brother-in-law are flying in from the East Coast (is the BEAST Coast, is that a thing? It is now mmkay) this weekend for a visit!! I’m so excited to show them around, do some hiking and PNW thangs! What are some of y’alls favorite traditions this time of year?
