Y’all know I love a good bargain and I’m always on the hunt for affordable fashion and everyday life essentials. As we gear up for holiday shopping and Black Friday sales, here are a few of my current Amazon Prime favorites for the home. I thought October was an exciting month in 2018, but it turns out November has quickly become the favorite. Geoff and I just crossed off an exciting milestone in our life and bought our first home! It’s still very surreal and exciting and beyond wonderful I wanna scream it from the (new) rooftops! With our first new home comes a whole new level of care and adulting I’ve never known. I’m talking an organized pantry, new area rugs and curated home decor thangs type of way, but more on all that in the coming months.
Today on LtL I’m sharing here my home favorites from Amazon prime that I can’t live without!
Amazon Favorites For The Home
Around the house
Conair Fabric Defuzzer – It’s sweater weather and THIS is the must for your clothes you didn’t know you needed. It’s also great for those furniture pieces with little pulls in the fabric. I use it on our 5 year old couch and it makes the cushions look like brand new again! #trust
Conair Hand Held Fabric Steamer – Y’all have probably heard me talk about how I LOVE my steamer in my stories on Instagram. I’ve been using this one to travel with over the last few years, but after our last trip to Florida she gave out on me. I’ve heard really great things about this steamer from the girls over at The Buy Guide, so I got one for myself and love it even more. Say goodbye to the days of ironing because the steamer is here to stay.
Turkish Cotton Towel Set – I’ve shared these before on LtL for a great flatlay prop, but I really love these for rooms around the house. They come in a set of 8, they’re absorbent easy to clean and super soft. I have the Grey combination set. I use them in the kitchen and in our powder room downstairs.
Dyson Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum Cleaner – We got this on a Black Friday sale but I know they also have a great deal on it during the Amazon Prime Day sales. If you own a cordless Dyson already, you know the hype is real. Their performance really do makeup for the higher price tag. I especially love using this model for cleaning our couch cushions, tiny corners and car seat.
Echo Dot Speaker – We love our Alexa Echo Dot! Sometimes we have to unplug her if she’s being ‘overused’ by Brooks 🙂 but we mostly love her for all she can do. I know we don’t utilize her for even half of what she’s capable of but I love listening to music from her booming speaker. Playing any artist or album I want to hear while cooking in the kitchen makes me happy.
Around the kitchen
Kitchen Towels – Do yourself a favor and replace all your questionable kitchen towels and get these. These are such inexpensive dupes to some of my other (pricier) favorite kitchen towels. They are soft, absorbent and don’t feel cheap. With almost 6,000 reviews, under $14 and 12 to the pack they are so great to have around the house for kitchen hand towels, cleaning rags or cloth napkin table setting.
Silicone Dish Sponge – We are big fans of silicone sponges in this house. They are long-lasting and anti-bacterial so you don’t get that gross ‘might be time for a wash’ stench you can get with cloth sponges.
4-Quart Air Fryer – We use our air fryer almost daily! There are tons of recipes to be found on Pinterest for healthier options on your go-to meals!
Silicone Egg Ring – I love these little egg thingies. I’ve tried other tricks to get the perfect shape for an egg (or pancake), but these silicone rings work perfectly and don’t get unbearably hot to where you can’t touch them to remove from food.
Kitchen Pantry Organizers
Lazy Susan – Susan ain’t so lazy with these amazing organizers. I love keeping these under the sinks to organize cleaning products, pads and cloths. I also have them in our pantry for food organization and our medicine cabinet for all our first-aid needs.
Large Stackable Storage Organizer Bins – These are amazing for organizing! I love the clear bins for a fresh look when you pop open the pantry doors, but also because you can write directly on them with a chalk pen. These are also great for organizing your medicine and linen closet. I’m definitely planning to implement these in the new home.
White Storage Bins with Lids – Since taking the photo above I’ve added some white storage bins to the floor similar to what I’ve linked. They’ve been GREAT additions to our pantry organizing system for overflow of snacks, drinks and miscellaneous back stock. I plan on doing a whole blog post on my trip to The Container Store, what I bought and how I used this soon!
