3 Tips On Affordable Printing

First things first, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have supported this small business since it’s launch in September 2017. It has honestly meant the world to me and I can’t thank y’all enough. As a one woman show, bringing this dream to life has had it’s ups and downs, but with each of them have come lessons learned and excitement for the future. Over the last few months I’ve done the leg work and found some affordable printing options for my readers and shoppers. Chic home design can look HGTV-worthy and still be easy on the wallet – yes, you can have it all!????????

3 tips on affordable printing:

ONE:

Costco – I have so many people ask me where I get my prints done and 9 out of 10 times my answer is Costco! They have the best quality for the best price, especially with larger prints. They will print as large as a 20×30 for only $9.99 compared to Walgreens (for instance) for $23.99. AND, bonus alert, I just recently discovered that you don’t have to be a Costco member to take advantage of their photo lab which I thought was pretty awesome! I would call the store for details, but I think all you need to do is create an account on their photo center online, which is what I do, and then select shipping or in-store pick up. I would also suggest ordering your prints in their Lustre finish. I personally like this better than other finish options they offer, for a more professional quality photo.

TWO:

Office Max/Depot – These places are great for (extra) large printing options. As seen in the photo above, this is a print from the LtL Print Shop I had printed into a 36×48 for only $39.99, compared to other large scale printing options at $85+. You can even go larger which I would love to do eventually with a few other prints in the shop. What can I say, I’m just a sucker for some statement, large scaled prints over a bed, couch, or big wall!

THREE: 

This might be my favorite tip because it’s essentially free. One thing I love doing is cropping prints to give a whole new perspective to you, the viewer. I have a ton of large (8×10 and bigger) prints from the shop lying around waiting for their new framed home. To change things up I’ll try to see it with a fresh set of eyes and maybe put it in a small frame/matte and it honestly gives you a whole new print! I did a post about it too, you can read more here. Aside from the two affordable printing options I’ve researched above, this is my favorite way to change things up and give myself essentially a whole new print from something I already have! With the print shopyou have unlimited printing options once you’ve purchased your favorites. Unlike other print shops, LtL gives you freedom to print how you like as many times as you’d like!
