Family Friendly Nashville: The Factory at Franklin

All this spring time rain has me pulling out my creative Pacific Northwest mom hat for indoor outings to get the wiggles out of B…and maybe a little out of me too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Of course there are the obvious choices like indoor gyms and jump jumps, but sometimes it’s nice to have other options. Options that don’t require spending money while still providing a good time. That’s why I recently took Brooks to the Factory at Franklin for a mommy son day date.I’ve been wanting to visit the Factory at Franklin since we moved to the Nashville area. but always found myself going to downtown Franklin instead. But recently I wanted to step out of my ‘norm’ and start doing something new again.

This place has so much charm and offers ample space for the little ones to stretch their legs without feeling like you have to constantly ‘be on them’ to calm down. There are creative venders, cute boutiques, and my personal favorite…places to eat. ๐Ÿ˜‹

B and I explored right when we got there and ended our day date with a sweet treat from the infamous (and mouth watering) Five Daughters Bakery. mmm so worth the calories ๐Ÿคค

We had a sweet ๐Ÿฉ little visit at the Factory! If you’re local or just in town visiting and looking for an indoor activity that’s easy on the wallet I would definitely head over! There’s even a someone to greet you right when you walk in if you need any help navigating the space! Southern charm, table for 1. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

What local spots are some of your favorites to take your littles to? There are so many in the area, it’s hard to choose just one!

PS…you may have noticed a few changes on the blog today! As I set my goals for 2018, a new blog with fresh new content is one of them! Thanks for following along on this creative journey of mine, and as always, thanks for reading, y’all!

Lemons to Love,
